When we never even met?
Thinking back on you
I live with such regret
Fearing we could never be
But now knowing for sure
Content with admiring you
Wanting so much more
To share one moment with you
Would be better than any dream
Your light shines brightly on me
With an everlasting beam
But this star you’ve helped create
Is rapidly fading away
Bound to explode brilliantly
Because here I can no longer stay
I am alone in this universe
The farthest point from me is you
There is nothing between us
